Degenerative Arthritis

A type of arthritis caused by inflammation, breakdown, and eventual loss of the cartilage of a joint. Degenerative arthritis is the most common form of arthritis, usually affecting the large weight-bearing joints, such as the hips and knees as well as joints in the hands, feet, spine. This type of arthritis is also known as osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease.
